From the Lesbian Avengers to the UK AIDS Memorial
Quilt, textiles has become a way for the LGBTQ+
communityto express and celebrate the imagery and
culture that has come from it.
Creating a set of three tapestries, floral motifs
directly correlate to a phrase that has come from
a part of the queer community. This forms the basis
of imagery for a speculative exhibition, held in the
Liverpool Bluecoat gallery.
